Although I'm interested in military history, I've never memorized the military unit designations and symbology used in recounting military actions. So I went looking for a reference page to find one. Once again, Wikipedia to the rescue. I know some people look down at Wikipedia as a source of information since it isn't often authoritative. But in this case, it's a nice reference for what I need.
